About me

My name is Winfred Wolfgram.

I’m not a pastor. My trade is in software.

But the call to proclaim God’s Word has been growing louder over the years, and I can’t ignore it anymore. This site, Word in Climax, is the beginning of my obedience — a place to write, think, and teach as one being prepared.

I live in a small town of about 200 people. It’s a town where faith once meant more than heritage. Many here still speak of Jesus, but who listens to Him? The wisdom of His Word has been traded for the comforts and compromise of the world. I know this because I’ve lived it too.

But the Word of God is living and active. It doesn’t return void.

So here I am — planting seeds. Writing reflections rooted in the Revised Common Lectionary, shaped by confessional Lutheran theology, and written for the people who share this town, this soil, and this season of life with me. These are musings, yes, but they are also invitations — to repent, to return, to walk with and trust the Lord of the harvest.

This project aims to be both catechetical and proclamatory. It teaches, and it preaches. My voice isn’t perfect, but it is seeking obedience to His will. The goal is not relevance, but reverence. Not clicks, but clarity. And if the Lord wills, these words may one day become sermons. Until then, they are notes from a servant in training.

Thanks for reading. I pray God uses it for His glory and our good.
